Just got back from a last minute 2 night break here with my young son. Where to start? Absolutely fantastic find in all honesty. Couldn't have been made to feel any more welcome and nothing was too much for the owners, they were fab from start to finish and a real pleasure to chat with. The hotel is spotlessly clean (following COVID guidelines), tidy and well maintained throughout. For the price you pay, it goes above and beyond!

For our first trip to Blackpool we searched Tripadvisor to find a character hotel. We booked the Valdene Hotel after reading its excellent reviews. It didn’t disappoint at all. Our hosts Bob and Linda have a real passion for the hotel business and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Our room, though small, was beautifully appointed and immaculate, the location was very central and just off the promenade and the breakfast was outstanding. The hotel was charming and full of character. Highly recommended.

We ( My wife, Daughter, and me) stayed here for 4 nights. First, the owners are very Nice , Very proud, of their cute little Hotel. Its clean, its tidy, the breakfast, which you chose on your first day, is perfect. ( I like mushrooms, but hey, its a nice breakfast). The bedroom was tidy, the bed , best sleep I have had in years. Now, the bathroom was a little small, the shower cubicle also, the shower itself got bit getting used to with the balance of scaled or freeze. The TV in our room had to be held at gunpoint to turn on. All that aside, I loved this little hotel. I NEVER give 10/10 to anything, it has to be exceptional, over the top for that. My Rating 8.5/10. would i stay here again? Absolutely 100%

Best hotel in the north west by far I first stayed here as a 18 year old in 1982 it was great then and it’seven better now was a fab hotel it’s Blackpool at its best three cheers for the Valdene it’s so close to all that Blackpool has to offer it also is a very clean and well run establishment
